Last year we at COSAC and the Homeless Voice thought that it did not matter how many homeless people we saved in the world if the world woulddestroyedtime with Global Warming.We did what we had to do and that was to start an Anti Global Warming Agency that would first start cutting our energy consumption here and to replace what we use as well as planting trees to take out the carbon we put in the atmosphere. We also decided to use the Homeless Voice Newspaper to educate you the public so we all can start doing one or two things to keep God's precious earth up and running. I said to myself,gave me three precious granddaughters and I want them to enjoy a long life and I need to use the resourceswhat we have like the paper to keep on educating.So here are some tips this month.
We all have things plugged in on our desk like our printers, phone chargers, calculators, and even our PC screen that are not being used all the time. These items are called vampires and all they do is suckenergy andyou shut themwhen not in use you willtwo things, one lower your electricand two save the earth.Most of us have a way of helping the energy hog known as the Electric Vampire out all the time.When we charge our phone most peoplethe charger plugged into the wall and just disconnect the phone frompower cord when the phone is charged. leaving that charger plugged into the wall all you are doing is contributing to global warming.So when your phone is charged remove the plug from the wall.Please also remember in most cases it only takes a few hours to charge your phone so don't leave itin over night.Try to plug it in a few hours before bed time then unplug it when you are ready to go to bed.of usan hour to get to work so it is far better to charge your phone in your car and that means no cost as well as preventing global warming.
Fluorescent lights last longer than regular light bulbs and run much cooler than the other type of lights. When you have a cooler light it helps keep the temperature down in your home which means your AC runs less. Also these lights usually save you about 15 percent in cost off ofelectric bill.
So today promise me that you will help preserve the earth and also save money off the cost of your electric bill and when you save money you can take that extra money and save it to make some extra principle payments onmortgage.when you pay one extra mortgage payment per yearcan cut your length down from a 30loan to almost a15 toyear loan.
